If you are looking for one of the most legendary wedding venues in all of Central Virginia, it’s hard to beat Keswick Hall. Founded over 100 years ago, this has always been a destination where you could go, forget about the cares of the world, and spend your week in luxury. When you stay at this landmark resort, you can count on high-end amenities, exceptional food, curated experiences, and the best setting to write the next chapter of your love story.
Details of the Grounds
With Keswick Hall, your experience is going to start a few days ahead of your wedding. This property has 80 rooms where you can camp out from the night of your rehearsal dinner through the day after your wedding. Your suite will be the best spot to get dressed, do your hair and makeup, and get out the pre-wedding jitters alongside your party.
The resort has several outdoor areas you can use for your ceremony. If you want an iconic garden vibe, The Great Lawn is your spot! Nestled next to the building, you will be able to use the staircase to make a grand and dramatic entrance! If you would prefer a little distance, you can use The Oval Lawn, where you can exchange your vows amidst the rows of hydrangeas.
Both of these spaces can be used for your reception while offering built-in areas you can use for your cocktail hour. When rearranged for a dinner, they can each hold up to 300 guests. If you would prefer an indoor party, the Keswick Ballroom is ideal! This space is outfitted with off-white walls accented with chairrail, moody lighting, and large windows that show off the hillside. With enough room for up to 180 guests, this space is ideal for more intimate gatherings.

Keswick Hall is full of wedding photo opportunities you simply cannot find anywhere else! While the rooms will be best for your candid pictures with your wedding party, the outside lawns are ideal for large group photos.
