The story of the Veritas Winery wedding venue started all the way across the ocean in Nottingham, England, when a young neurologist fell in love with a young nurse. As the two grew in their careers, they found themselves on the East Coast of the United States. It was out here when they were struck with a wild idea: what if they started making their own wine? They purchased a farm in 1999, and by 2001, they produced their first vintage. The two have continued chasing this dream while bringing in the rest of the family. These days, Veritas Winery is the perfect spot to spend a sun-soaked day trying some of the best wines available!
Details of the Grounds
When you book Veritas Winery for your wedding, you will have several spaces where you can get ready ahead of your ceremony. The Bridal Suite is a bright, well-decorated room ideal for showing off your style. Meanwhile, The Study is a moody, masculine spot perfect for the groom.
For your ceremony, you will be able to choose from a variety of outdoor spaces where you will have both the Blue Ridge Mountains and the vineyards as your backdrop. Then, after you have finished exchanging your vows, your guests can head to The Deck located just outside the Tasting Room. Here, they can enjoy a cocktail hour as you take your pictures. Once your reception begins, you can head into The Tasting Room or The Ballroom for hours of celebration! The Tasting Room is the more intimate option with enough space for up to 100 guests. Meanwhile, The Ballroom is a bit more romantic and flexible, with enough space for up to 250 guests.

Every single corner of Veritas Winery is picture-perfect for wedding portraits with verdant vineyards nestled next to premium views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
