Fox Meadow Barn was founded in 2017 by a local family of farmers utilizing the land for hay and grazing beef cattle and sheep. Yes, it is an actual working farm! But don’t worry; their venue spaces provide distance from livestock (and the smell that is often associated.)
They have 5,000 square feet of indoor space for your event. The extensive outdoor acreage for wedding ceremonies and cocktail hours is excellent! Their area has heat, air conditioning, and indoor plumbing amenities. As a result, you can have your perfect wedding any time of year.
There is also a nearby hotel for your traveling guests and a Walmart for any last-minute essentials.
Details of the Grounds
Most couples married at Fox Meadow Barn in Virginia choose to have their ceremony outdoors. They have a beautiful wooden arch to adorn with flowers and draperies of your choosing and rows of wooden benches for your guests to watch you exchange your vows. Outside are surrounding beautiful fields, rolling hills, quaint farm buildings, and plenty of towering trees, attractive regardless of the season.
The Barn, most commonly used for receptions, has warm timber beams strung with elegant string lights and crystal chandeliers. On one side of the room is a large stone gas fireplace that makes the space homey and cozy and is the perfect backdrop for an intimate sweetheart table. White draperies hanging from high ceilings provide a touch of softness and help define the space, regardless of how you decide to organize your layout. French doors also lead to an outdoor patio, which can be perfect for a cocktail hour or just a little extra fresh air for your guests throughout the night. And, importantly, there is plenty of room for dancing. The space can accommodate up to 280 people.
The Barn also has a prep kitchen, indoor restrooms, and a cozy bridal changing room that you can use to prepare for your big day.
