Nestled at the top of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Swannanoa is a unique villa that is sure to wow your guests. Inspired by Italian architecture, this venue provides the perfect canvas for a romantic, european style wedding. Not to mention, it was literally built out of love! The original owner, Mr. Dooley, built this home out of love for his wife. He created it to mimic their adventures together and to highlight everything Mrs. Sally Dooley loved. This venue has large stained glass, picturesque large columns, and the best garden to take photos in. Many couples choose to also have their engagement photos here as well.
The Clifton Inn
While this venue is not a typical estate, the Clifton Inn gives all of the estate vibes. This Charlottesville VA wedding venue is well known and well loved by many couples. Gardens surround the inn, making photos a dream here! Not to mention, this venue is great at any time of the year. A white tent is available to be used for the reception which means you do not have to worry about needing a rain plan! Just outside the tent location is the perfect garden patio area for a cocktail hour.
The best part is that you not only have the venue for your wedding, but guests do not have to travel far once they have danced the night away. Following the reception, guests can choose to stay in one of their many beautiful rooms.
Gallison Hall
Just because they are the new kid on the block doesn’t mean they aren’t ready to party! Gallison Hall is the epitome of an estate wedding and provides all the luxuries to be expected. The vineyards are what this venue is best known for, but there are so many other things that make this venue the perfect place for your wedding day. Created with photography and weddings in mind, Pippin Hill is one of the best venues in the state! You cannot get any better than this venue. Brought to life by a wedding planner, weddings at Pippen Hill are a breeze. Make the ceremony your own on the lawn. Afterwards, dance the night away in their barn.
