Rachel asked me if I would do some portraits of her for her birthday, and being the awesome friend that I am, of course I said yes! Anytime that I photograph Rachel ends up being great because she really knows how to push my creativity. There are always pictures that I do not think will work out and they come out phenomenally.
Of course, there was the normal sense of panic on what to wear before portraits. She wanted to do something fun and different. Naturally, I leaned towards a 70’s wardrobe (if you know me, my wardrobe leans towards that anyways). So, of course, she took that idea and ran with it. Did she deliver, or did she deliver?
Maymont is one of my favorite places for portraits, and this time of the year just confirmed it! There were flowers everywhere. My favorites, peonies, were EVERYWHERE. I even had to grab a couple before we left! The flowers were the cherry on top to this beautiful session.
